A new tool for oral mucosal examination, VELscope® is a hand-held device that allows dentists and hygienists to visualize oral mucosal abnormalities prior to outward visible signs.

The VELscope® emits a safe blue light into the mouth. Under VELscope® examination, the surfaces in the mouth will fluoresce and immediately show any different fluorescence response, to help differentiate between normal and abnormal tissue.

VELscope® is the only non-invasive adjunctive device clinically proven to help discover oral cancers.
